High blood pressure, often known as hypertension, is a frequent medical condition where there is an increase in the blood's constant pressure against the walls of the arteries. When calculating blood pressure in millimetres of mercury (mmHg), the higher number reflects the systolic pressure and the lower number represents the diastolic pressure. Less than 120/80 mmHg blood pressure values are considered normal. However, hypertension is defined as a blood pressure reading that is consistently 130/80 mmHg or greater. Here you can find What is Hypertension at imchospital.
